El CBCT utiliza la fuente de energía de CC de la subestación para generar electrónicamente una tensión de salida programable del 5 al 95% de la tensión de la fuente. Puede mantener una corriente de prueba de hasta 80A manteniendo una regulación de la tensión mejor al 2% durante el funcionamiento de la bobina del interruptor.

The Vanguard Resistor Transducer Adapter (RTA) can be used to connect any resistor type transducer to the digital transducer channel of a Vanguard circuit breaker analyzer. The RTA also features a 3-pin SwitchCraft connector that can directly interface with ABB resistor transducers.
